WATCH | Pakistan sets new world record with UAE flag in Dubai
Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD) has set a Guinness World Record by creating the largest UAE flag made from 24,514 handprints representing over 100 nationalities.
The flag was unveiled at a special ceremony held at the Pakistan Auditorium in Dubai today (22nd May), as part of PAD’s Hands of Unity campaign honouring the UAE Year of Community.
The project involved 23 schools, 39 activation sites, and thousands of volunteers, symbolising the deep bond between the Pakistani diaspora and the UAE.
The initiative was led in collaboration with Emirates Loves and artist Rubab Zahra.
Dignitaries, including Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, attended the event, which featured a video of the campaign journey and distribution of appreciation certificates to contributors.
